OM SKOLAN
IHGR is the small school in the heart of Gothenburg. We aim to educate independent and knowledgeable world citizens, who strive to continue their academic studies and/or professional careers internationally. At IHGR we are altogether 350 students and 30 staff. We offer the Social Science Programme, The Social Science Programme Pace (SPETS), the Natural Science Programme and the IB Diploma Programme. Together we represent almost sixty nationalities, something that ensures a truly international atmosphere.

Färdighetsprov – SA särskild variant språk (Spetsutbildning engelska)
When applying to the PACE program (SPETS) students sit an entrance exam. Applicants will receive an invitation to come to IHGR to take the exam. The exam focus on reading comprehension, vocabulary and creative writing. The exam is assessed and graded by IHGR teachers. The grades and the entrance exam values equally.
International Baccalaureate – IB
When applying to the IB program students take an entrance exam. The exam focus on knowledge and skills in Mathematics and English where both parts values equally. The Maths part covers the curriculum of grade 9 and the English part includes reading comprehension, vocabulary and creative writing. The exam is assessed and graded by IHGR teachers. Students with international educational school background apply with grades from overseas combined with the result of the entrance exam.
